I am one of those '1/2' cream orderers/pain-in-the-derrieres.

Recently converted.

'Cause 2 cream is too much, and 1 just ain't enough.

Trust me.

I'm even embarrassed for myself when ordering.

all clear.

ATTENTION: Plans for the Ark have been put on hold until further notice.

The big-bad gang of rain clouds that have been assaulting our poor town
all week long

{although leaving everything beautifully cleansed & green}

seems to have dispersed for the moment.

And just in time too.

'Cause today is the first day of summer.

Yesterday, Ava & I were guests at Miss Avery's birthday party.

My bestie-pal Ramie's daughter, Avery.

Avery's 4th birthday party at McDonald's was the bomb for the following reasons:

We feasted on nuggets, fries & chocolate milk.

The kids were able to expend all their energy running like wild animals through the playland.

Crave Cupcakes for dessert.  Hello.

A tornado watch was issued mid-party.

Exciting.....

...Aaand,

I think there may have been a wizard in our presence

Guess what grand adventure we'll be embarking on tomorrow?

Having our 2 year old twin nephews sleepover for the first time.

{Vintage Mix Stock Flowers}

Would you believe these flowers are from my very own wildly 'rustic' garden?

Me neither.

But they are.

Just picked them out from the greenhouse this past monday.

My giddy-greenthumb heart dropped when the greenhouse keeper advise me to cut the blooms off immediately after planting.

You know, to encourage new blooms...?

Wah.

I'm trying to be a real keener this year
in regards to my garden
so, sadly, I did as the lady recommended.

But not without snapping a quick pic of just how gorgeous these flowers are.

--Funny, how anything with the label 'vintage' tacked onto it, instantly becomes superfabulous?!
