I had the pleasure of having my Grandpa Grundy over last week. Other than the year we lived in Manitoba, I can count on one hand the number of visits we've had over the years. The last time I had the chance to see him was at my Grandma's funeral over 2 years ago, so it was nice to see him under different circumstances. It was a very short visit, to say the least, but these opportunities only come along once in a blue moon so it really was something to treasure. The kids got a chance to have a bit of a visit with him; we talked horses, looked at win pictures-- all that great stuff. I'm glad we had the chance to connect again and hopefully in the near future, we can make the trip out to see the rest of the family in Manitoba.
